New EA promo video from Camp

Hot off the presses for your viewing enjoyment is the new Elemental Awareness promo video.  This video was filmed and produced at Element YMCA Skate Camp by Mitch Buangsuwon and Tom Mull.  It describes the EA program at Skate Camp and what the kids learn in 4 days at camp.  This video stars EA instructor and heartthrob Mat Luciani.  Mat has been an integral part of the program for almost a decade and we are proud he still calls skate camp his summer home.  Special thanks goes out to all the Skate Camp Pirates and kids who came through the program this past summer.

Make It Count Puerto Rico

Video from the 2011 MAKE IT COUNT CONTEST series in Rincon, Puerto Rico is up! Congrats to Yariel Melendez, the overall winner of the contest! Yariel will join other contest winners from all over the world at Element YMCA Skate Camp for finals in June, along with a trip to The Berrics! Next stop is Denver!

Dylan Christopher is a 23-year old with a mission… He is riding his bicycle across the country, and documenting the entire voyage. As an instructor for Elemental Awareness at the Element YMCA Skate Camp, the EA family have come together to sponsor Dylan’s adventure. Dylan welcomes anyone interested in getting involved, whether it be donations, providing a couch to sleep on along his journey, or sharing of useful information… If you’d like to help out in anyway possible, please contact him here.

Check out Dylan’s Website Picture Me Rollin‘ for more details.

Element Advocate Amber B Dianda caught up with Dylan on his way from San Fransico to San Diego to wish him well, and I snapped a couple of photos. Check out the post here.

Elemental Awareness surprised the Century Middle School Skate program in Inglewood, CA on Friday, Oct. 22nd by showing up with gifts of Decks, wheels and shoes.  The day was full of smiles, good vibes, and of course skateboarding.  Everyone in attendance went home with something from Element Skateboards.  Special thanks goes out to Century Middle School for having us out.  Click here for photos.
